Mission Statement: The mission of Town & Country Eyecare is to contribute to a lifetime of healthy eyes and vision for our community. Our goal is to remain at the forefront of eyecare with continuing education for all staff and utilizing the latest technology to provide the highest quality eyecare available. We will strive to deliver this personalized service in a friendly, professional atmosphere. Improving our patients' quality of life, by fulfilling their unique visual needs, will always be our first priority.

Timothy R. Kirk, O.D.: Dr. Kirk graduated in 1985 with honors from Ferris State University, and has since practiced in medical settings with internists, pediatricians and ophthalmologists. Prior to opening Town & Country Eyecare in 1994, he served as clinical director for one of Michigan's largest eye surgery institutes. Click here to see Dr.Kirk's resume.

Dr. Amy Crissman, O.D.: Dr. Crissman has a B.S. in physiology from Michigan State University and graduated with honors from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in 1997. She completed internships at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital Eye Institute, the Detroit VA Hospital and at a large private group practice in Louisville, Kentucky. Appointments: Appointments are available Monday through Saturday, with early morning and evening times available. We respect your time and make every effort to remain on schedule. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible.

Office Hours: Our hours of operation are as follows:

Monday		9 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday		8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday		8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday		9 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Friday		8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday		9 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Emergency Care: We provide emergency coverage after hours for our established patients. Call the office at 248-347-7800 to get the on-call number.

Fees and Insurance: Every effort is made to keep your eye care costs down. You can help by paying at the time of service and eliminating billing costs. We accept most insurance plans with vision coverage. If you have any questions about your coverage, please ask. We will work with you to find the answer.

Location: The office is located at the southeast corner of Novi and Nine Mile roads, approximately two miles south of I-96. Or take the Eight Mile Road exit from I-275 and go two miles west on Eight Mile to Novi Road. On Novi Road go north approximately one mile and the office will be on the right. Community Involvement: Town & Country Eyecare is deeply involved in community activities. Dr. Kirk and Dr. Crissman have been active members of the Northville and Novi Chambers of Commerce since 1993. Since 1994 they have taught more than 7.000 second grade students about their eyes, vision and eye safety through the Partnerships In Education program with the schools. Dr. Kirk was honored as the 1998 "Resource Partner of the Year" from the Novi Chamber of Commerce and Novi Schools.

Dr. Kirk and Dr. Crissman believe in giving back to the community through the many organizations they contribute to throughout the year. Some of those organizations include Northville Safety Co-sponsor, Novi/Northville High Sports Boosters, Northville/Novi Friends of the Library, Northville Mother's Club, local churches, and many more.
